Mexican Meat Pockets





     Here we go again with an easy dish. My family calls this, meat patties. I absolutely love this dish! It's so delicious! Every time my mom makes it, my family eats it all up. Enjoy!


Ingredients
  • Ground Beef (you can also use chicken)
  • 2 Crescent Rolls
  • 8 ounce of Cheddar Cheese (optional)
  • 2  Cans of Green Chiles (optional)
 
 
Directions
       First, Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.  Then lay out the crescent rolls on a pan. Next, layer on the green onions, meat, and cheese. Finally, put on the top layer of the crescent and bake in the oven for 13 to 15 minutes. Then enjoy!

 
 
 
Conclusion
     This dish is so fun and easy to make! It's probably one of my favorite dishes for dinner. You can add any toppings you want like sour cream, black olives, or tomatoes.

Pumpkin Rice Crispy Treats

 
 
     Have I ever told you how much I love simple sweet treats? Well... I do! And this week, I want to share an ADORABLE treat with you. These pumpkin rice crispy treats are so cute! My family and I made them for our annual Halloween/Trick or Treating gathering and by the end of the night, they were all gone! They are so sweet and crunchy and I just love them! 
 
 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 Bag of Marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons of Butter
  • 3/4 a Box of Rice Crispy's
  • Rolo (1 per pumpkin)
  • Green Frosting (for leaf)
  • Orange Food Coloring (we used red and yellow)
 
 
 
Directions
 
     First, put the marshmallows and butter in a large bowl. Then, put the bowl in the microwave for 1 minute, then take out and stir and put back in the microwave for another minute. Next, add the orange food coloring (however much you want) and mix. After that, shape the mixture into ball forms, add the rolo on top(as the stem), and put green frosting by the rolo(as the leaf). Finally, ENJOY!
 
 
 
Conclusion
I told you it was easy! It was so much fun to make and eat. These treats made my Halloween one to remember. Enjoy!

Pasta Salad

     Honestly, I can't even explain how much I just LOVE pasta salad! Today I am going to share a pasta salad recipe that my family and I just devour. I can guarantee you'll appreciate this dish as much as me!
 
 
 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 Box of Pasta (Tricolored) 
  • 1/2 of a Red Onion (Diced)
  • 2 Large Carrots (Diced)
  • 1 Cup of Mozzarella Cheese (Diced)
  • 1/2 Red Pepper (Diced)
  • 1/2 Yellow Pepper (Diced)
  • 1/2 cup of Italian Dressing



















Directions 
 
     First, cook pasta(box will say how long the pasta should cook). Then dice the carrots, peppers, mozzarella cheese, and red onion. Next, when the pasta is done, strain pasta and cool off with cold water. Finally, mix pasta, carrots, red onion, peppers, and mozzarella in a bowl and add Italian dressing. 
 
 
 
Conclusion

Simple right? I love this recipe so much! It's perfect for parties and last minute sides for dinner. This recipe is definitely one to put in the book of great dishes. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Apple Oatmeal Crisp

     Need an easy, no mess dessert that's quick and takes only about an hour? If yes, this apple oatmeal crisp recipe is for you! This dessert is perfect because it gives you the crunch of the oatmeal and the sweetness of the apples. Did I mention is super easy?!?!
 
 
 
 
Ingredients
1 cup of brown sugar                   3 cups of peeled and diced apples
1 cup of oats                                1/2 cup of white sugar
1 cup of flour                               2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1/2 cup of melted butter
1 teaspoon of salt
 
 
 
 
Directions
First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius), and lightly grease a glass pan. Then, in a bowl, mix the brown sugar, oats, salt, flour, and butter (mix until crumbly). After mixing that, put half in the glass pan. Next, place apples over the crumb mixture, and sprinkle the apples with combined sugar and cinnamon. Lastly, put the other half of the crumb mixture over the apples and put in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes (or until golden brown).
















Conclusion
I absolutely LOVE this dessert! It was so much fun to make, and it was very easy and made no mess! This scrumptious dish was soooooo delicious I could eat it all by myself! But of course I had to share with my family and they told me they loved it. And it's even better with ice cream! I definitely recommend you make this dish asap!

Pumpkin Bars

 Let's start off with something sweet. Now this is a recipe me and my family love! Pumpkin Bars are a great thing to start off the fall season. The creamy frosting and soft cake just melts in your mouth. I hope you love it!
 
 
 
Ingredients for Pumpkin Bars
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 2 cups of pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder                                         
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon



 
 







Directions for Pumpkin Bars



First, beat the eggs. Next, add the wet ingredients (sugar and pumpkin). Then, add the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ground cloves, and cinnamon). After that, add the vegetable oil and beat for 5 minutes (Warning: Do NOT forget to beat for 5 minutes because it takes all the time to mix). Finally, pour the batter into a buttered and floured pan (so they won't stick). Cook for 30 minutes in a "18x12" pan. Then let cool and add the frosting.


            
                      
                                              
 
                                          
   Ingredients for Frosting
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese
  • 3/4 stick of butter
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons of milk


 
 





Directions for Frosting
First let cream cheese and butter get soft. Then add other ingredients and mix with whisk.


 
 
Conclusion
This recipe is one that is simple but effective. It's sweet taste just leaves you wanting more. And it's perfect for your dessert table this Thanksgiving! My grandma just loves pumpkin bars and insists we bring her some every time we make them. I absolutely LOVE this recipe because its so easy and fun to make!
