1 cup of flour                               2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1/2 cup of melted butter
1 teaspoon of salt

Directions
First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius), and lightly grease a glass pan. Then, in a bowl, mix the brown sugar, oats, salt, flour, and butter (mix until crumbly). After mixing that, put half in the glass pan. Next, place apples over the crumb mixture, and sprinkle the apples with combined sugar and cinnamon. Lastly, put the other half of the crumb mixture over the apples and put in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes (or until golden brown).

Pumpkin Bars

Let's start off with something sweet. Now this is a recipe me and my family love! Pumpkin Bars are a great thing to start off the fall season. The creamy frosting and soft cake just melts in your mouth. I hope you love it!

  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon

Directions for Pumpkin Bars

First, beat the eggs. Next, add the wet ingredients (sugar and pumpkin). Then, add the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ground cloves, and cinnamon). After that, add the vegetable oil and beat for 5 minutes (Warning: Do NOT forget to beat for 5 minutes because it takes all the time to mix). Finally, pour the batter into a buttered and floured pan (so they won't stick). Cook for 30 minutes in a "18x12" pan. Then let cool and add the frosting.
